Larkya La Pass is one of the most beautiful and challenging mountain passes in Nepal. It lies at an altitude of about 5,160 meters (16,929 feet) and is the highest point of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Located in the Gorkha district, this pass connects the Budhi Gandaki Valley with the Marsyangdi Valley, offering dramatic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Manaslu, the world’s eighth-highest mountain.
Crossing Larkya La Pass is often the most exciting part of the trek. It usually takes place after a week of trekking through lush forests, remote villages, and high mountain trails.
